Marguerite Landry, 76, passed away peacefully at l'Hôpital Georges-L-Dumont surrounded by her loving family on August 26. Born in Little Dover Road Memramcook, she was the daughter of the late Philias and Edna (LeBlanc) Cormier.

Marguerite CormierMarguerite was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grand-mother who took great care of her family as a stay-at-home Mom. She was a gifted gardener who spent many happy hours in her garden and preparing floral arrangements. She also enjoyed bowling and golf, and always looked forward to attending her family's sporting events.

She will be sadly missed by Edgar, her husband of 56 years, three sons, Pierre (Charline) of Charlottetown, Jean (Annette) and Charles (Florida) of La Montain, one daughter, Dianne (Michel) Hébert of St. Joseph, and seven grand-children, Mathieu, Simon, Mélanie, Carole, Justin, Francois and Eric. Also survived by three sisters Rose-Marie (Adéodat) Gaudet of McGinley, Géraldine (Ronald) Cormier of Beaumont, and Lauda LeBlanc of Dieppe, two brothers, Fred (Danielle) of Quebec and Roger (Jeannine) of Pré-D'en-Haut. Marguerite was predeceased by her brother Léo-Paul of Dieppe.

Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, and the Funeral mass will be held at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Church in Memramcook East on Monday, August 30, at 4:00 pm. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery
